Coach Tom Barnett was honored at the Kearny Komet Senior Night football game on October 29, 2021. Surrounded by former players, Coach Barnett was presented with a facsimile of the bronze plaque that now adorns the entrance to Komet Stadium along with the plaque honoring Coach Birt Slater. An exhibit area showcased Coach Barnett’s Kearny career and contributions.
